According to the United Nations Environment Programme, in the United States, 30 percent of all food, worth $48.3 billion, is thrown away each year. Agrictulture is also the largest human use of water. In addition to the colossal waste of food, half of the amount of water used to produce this food, is wasted.
We want to form partnerships that will assist in building a community founded on local producers, merchants and consumers.
Eventually, hope to start a donation based restaurant with healthy food options available for any hungry person.
